The Kindergarten children had a fabulous morning at Moors Valley in the sunshine. They loved the Gruffalo trail.

Kindergarten and Reception had a fantastic day out at the New Forest Wildlife Centre. We saw lots of animals including owls, otters and wolves. All the children were fabulously behaved and we all had lots of fun!
Year 6 had a super day at Avon Tyrell participating in ‘Roll out the Barrell’! They chose their own activities and earned points for their team before making and using a giant catapult to compete against each other. They had lots of fun using their minds and physical skills to complete a range of tasks…
Today, two of our Year 4 boys got to taste the lettuce they had planted in our Easter Holiday Club. They have been carefully looking after their lettuce and tended it from seed to successful plants and today they gave it the taste test! The verdict…yummy!
Year 5s had a brilliant day travelling back in time to the time of the Egyptians. They looked amazing in their costumes and enjoyed a fabulous day learning all about life in Ancient Egypt. They touched ‘real’ artefacts from Egyptian tombs, played Egyptian Snakes and Ladders, saw a ‘mummification’ and attended the funeral of Pharaoh…
Over the last few weeks, Year 1 have been doing lots of different pieces of art, inspired by nature. We have experimented with water colours, wax resistant painting and oil pastels.
Year 6 have started recording their songs for ‘Aladdin’. They are really enjoying using the recording equipment and working with Mr. Legg to edit their vocals.
Kindergarten have been outside exploring! Mrs Carden gave them some guttering and lots of different objects. The children had lots of fun exploring what they could do. There were lots of giggles and lots of excitement outside as they worked out how to make things roll down the guttering.
Kindergarten have been learning about ‘People Who Help Us’. They all dressed up as a pilot and took their friends on holiday! Hold onto your chairs for take off!
We have approximately 150 pupils in the School taught in eight classes, with each year group forming its own class.
