Thanks to Mrs Howe and a number of Year 6 volunteers, the children had an ‘out of this world’ day celebrating all things to do with Space and Science. They made marshmallow constellations, sundials, straw rockets, galaxy dough and solar systems with fruit to name but a few. They even created their own planets describing what would be found there, how big it was, its appearance and even its length of year and day. It was a truly hands-on and messy day full of lots of fun learning. Everyone had a blast and it was an astronomical success!
