Year 5 and 6 have been marking National Holocaust Memorial Day. They read stories of survivors and wrote poems, diary entries and letters inspired by what they had read and heard. Using their own handprints, they also created a Flame of Hope and Remembrance. Tonight they have been encouraged to join the national act of remembrance by placing a light in their window at 8pm.
