Year 5 are thoroughly enjoying their Design and Technology lessons. They have been designing their own marble runs and are REALLY looking forward to constructing them in upcoming lessons.
Year 5 have been practising their mathematical skills by setting up their own shops to ‘buy and sell’; a great way to improve their ability to add and subtract with decimals!

Today, children in Kindergarten joined their Upper School friends to make collages of the Queen. Each House made a collage in their team’s colours as a way of marking the Queen’s Jubilee. We love the results and can’t wait to see them on display around school.
We have had a full week of Platinum Jubilee celebrations culminating in a party celebrating each of the decades of Queen Elizabeth’s reign. It was an amazing day and such a wonderful way to mark Her Majesty’s seventy years on the throne.
Year 1 were very excited today to see their first chick hatch. They have been watching the incubator very carefully and were so pleased when Chewie arrived. Hopefully we will have news about our other eggs soon…
After a two year hiatus, we are delighted that our annual Year 6 Residential week has been able to resume. The children have had an amazing time at Avon Tyrell participating in a wide range of activities and making memories that will hopefully last a lifetime.
We have approximately 150 pupils in the School taught in eight classes, with each year group forming its own class.
