In preparation for Armistice Day on Wednesday, Year 2 have been creating their own poppy pictures. They, along with the rest of Lower and Middle School, have been learning about the meanings of the different coloured poppies and incorporated these into their pictures.

Year 4 have been studying Pop Art this half term and this week they have created their own Andy Warhol style self portraits.
Each week the children in Year 1 choose books to read to themselves, their partner, or their teachers. They love to read and we are so proud of the progress that they are making.
Upper School have been having fun in their music lessons learning to play Boomwhackers. Not only have they developed their musical skills, but have also learnt the importance of listening carefully and working together as a team!
Our children in Kindergarten have really enjoyed looking at the leaves they have found around school. What a lot of different colours they could see! They used the leaves to create their own fabulous artwork.
This morning we had our first School Council of the year. We were all very excited as representatives from Years 3-6 got to meet through Google Meet and share our ideas with Mrs Howe. We are looking forward to our next meeting next Monday!
Our new Bronze Ambassadors have been chosen. Bronze Ambassadors are sports leaders in schools. They have been selected due to their sporting talent, but more importantly, due to their commitment and ability as young leaders or volunteers. They began their ‘training’ this week and we are really looking forward to seeing them in their roles….
