During their trip to the Lower Gardens on Thursday, Year 1 took a walk to the War Memorial. They took time to stop and look at the wreaths that had been laid and to think about all of the soldiers who gave so much for us all.
Today our whole school community came together to mark Remembrance Day. The Year 3s led our act of memorial by reading out poems that they have written and the whole school marked Armistice Day with two minutes of silence. .
Kindergarten have had great fun making their own firework creations. They used straws and paint to make firework pictures and the inside of kitchen rolls to make their own rockets.
Kindergarten have been learning all about Diwali. They have made their own Diwali lamps and drew a beautiful Rangoli pattern outside of the front door to welcome the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi into our school.
