If you were to visit Talbot House you would appreciate why the staff and pupils
are so enthusiastic and proud of the school. We are a small, yet significant,
caring school with a warm pleasant atmosphere. In our school, we constantly
celebrate progress, success and achievement; and we encourage children to extend
themselves beyond the expectations that they and others may have for them! Because
we are a small school we are able to focus on the individual, being aware of individual
needs and catering to those needs in a specific way that would not be possible in
large classes. Thus children in our school develop a sense of security and confidence
as they are encouraged to achieve individual goals and function as part of the school
and wider community.
At Talbot House School we inspire children to love learning and to enjoy the

Children constantly produce work of a very high standard and our school has gained
an enviable reputation for its success in preparing children for Common Entrance,
Grammar School Entrance and Public School Examinations. Wherever our children attend

Our children are well prepared for the rigours of senior school study because we
rely on many traditional methods and values in teaching, at the same time keeping
abreast of developments in education and we offer a broad and balanced curriculum.
